A London based studio operating on cultural, creative and commercial projects including visual identities, magazines, books and other printed matter.

The studio was founded by Tim Wan in 2014. It has since made defining contributions to a number of leading design studios. Prior, Wan was in residency at Italian research centre Fabrica, where he did art direction and design of COLORS Magazine for six issues starting in 2011.

Studio Wan’s practice takes an editorial approach and focuses on content and narrative. Its work has been recognised by D&AD, International Society of Typographic Designers, Art Directors Club and published in various print and digital outlets.

The studio works collaboratively with a wide network of creatives and is able to call upon world-class editors, photographers and programmers to suit each project’s requirements.

Design services

include art direction, visual identities, publications, exhibition design, magazines, signage, packaging, printed matter, creative workshops and digital.

Commissions include projects with

Aperture Foundation, Greenwich Peninsula, ICON Magazine, Fabrica, Leeds College of Art, The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), Ogilvy & Mather, Philippe Starck, Porter Airlines, Rizzoli, Tiffany & Co, United Colors of Benetton, United Visual Artists.
